All parties involved in a car accident need to remain at the scene despite the person at fault. Wait for the police and medical help in case anyone is injured. Leaving the scene of an accident you have been involved in is a crime. That aside, your insurer may also insist you do this unless you have suffered injuries and need to be rushed to the hospital.
Being Uncooperative
As much as a car crash can throw you off, it is of no use arguing with the other driver about who is at fault. Try and keep your cool. When the police get there, be cooperative and answer all their questions. Answer questions truthfully and based on facts instead of opinions.
